The basic function of the company is to source, market, and distribute gas, electricity, and water products from both the domestic and overseas markets.
ASU started out as a small business with its main directors and shareholders leaving a large corporate firm in 2014 in the water, gas, and electricity industry to venture on their own.

By 2015 ASU began supplying all its customers with Elster, Conlog, Landis Gyr, Itron, and Hexing metering products.

Today the company has grown to supply electrical wholesalers, electrical contractors, plumbers, and artisans with world brands in the electricity and water sectors.

The product range includes Metering Kiosks, MCB's, and Solar Products.

The company has grown rapidly since then and now has partners and distributors in the main economic centers of South Africa such as Port Elizabeth, Durban, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.

Our customers include municipalities and public utilities in Southern Africa and wholesalers within the sectors. We also have private direct customers that service the construction and private estate markets.
